I’m learning more about zero net carbon buildings at the moment – more and more funders want this for their property portfolio which is positive as if they want it, hopefully the industry will deliver.

Would definitely like to get a bit more innovation / ‘what if’ thinking into my work too, for sustainability and how people live.

A job combining nature and technology to help the environment sounds great. Within the built environment I think some of the biggest challenges are embodied energy within the building materials (eg concrete, aluminium) and the availability / use of natural resources to build.
