Day 2
Personal
• What activities give me energy? – walking, cold shower, playing, VR games, driving
• What bores me? – repetitive things/doing the same thing over and over even after I became very good at doing it. The good part is that generally prompts me to find ways to automate the process
• What don’t I want to do, no matter the payoff? – I don’t think of payoff in terms of money and I truly believe there is something to be learned from anything if we are present in the moment so I can’t think of something I wouldn’t do
• What is the thing I do where I lose a sense of time? – learning, teaching, data analysis, moving and assembling furniture 🙂
• What have I been interested in since childhood? – working with numbers, but not in the dry way we did in math
• What is the first thing you think of when you read the word “interest”? – excitement
• What am I willing to do for no money? – teaching someone who really wants to learn
• What would I only do for a lot of money? – money don’t motivate me
Legacy
• What do I want to be remembered for? – teaching people to stand on their own two feet (mostly because experience has taught me I learn best when teaching, rather than because I aced it :D)
• What contributions can I make to society that I would be most proud of? – create a knowledge transfer space for people of all levels of experience
• What do I want to make sure people never say about me? – you didn’t even try
• What are three words I want people to think of me? – sunshine, chill, blue
Inspiring People
• Who are the three successful people I admire? – my sisters, Lisa Bilyeu, Matthew Hussey
• What are those people doing that I admire? – they decide what they want and go for it hard
• What do those I admire have in common with one another? – they set a goal and work towards achieving it
• What do I have in common with that list of people? – big dreams
• Who is the most supportive person in my life? – my Mom was… she passed away 2 months ago… I don’t know right now
Lifestyle
• What makes me feel good? – being around people I can learn from
• What gives me energy? – learning by interacting with people
• What things do I do that I tend to regret later? – speak or react first, think later
• What do I need to do more of that would make me feel better about myself? – keep my promises to myself and be more consistent
